Vords of Visdom
WUHUUUUUUUUUU today I am back in Jakarta! So exciting because it’s Hari Raya holiday, you can feel the festivities in the air, it’s like Chinese New Year, everybody is happy and it’s time to meet up with your big family!
So I went back home with my biatch Gani and my friends El and his sister Nita. We took Luthfansa home. As usual when we team up, we are freakin loud J had couple of stares from other passengers… Afraid not my child once the plane is off they all went to sleep, I opt to continue watching Veronica Mars Season 2, thanks Ms Iqbal.
It was a nice flight, maybe because I can’t wait to reach Jakarta. The flight was really full, a lot of people “balik kampong” to Jakarta. Hari Raya or Lebaran or Hari Raya Idul Fitri, for me it’s a time when you meet up with your love ones and seek for their forgiveness for whatever wrong you made to them and vice versa. It’s a nice gesture and fasting months is a month when you give back to community all of the good fortune that you had the whole year. I respect that core principle. And of course to pledge your faith to the big daddy, GOD J So whenever it’s possible, I’ll try my best to come home to my family.
I had a break fast dinner meeting with my friends from PC group: Lani, Desi, Mela, Fitri, Puti Saura and the very preggie Indil at Pelangi (Plaza Semanggi). It’s a big mall that I’ve never been to, but hey… all malls look alike so I didn’t miss much by not going until today. My brother Vano joined us, since he was kindly enough to pick me up at the airport. We had dinner at Pizza Hut, ok not my kind of place to meet up with friends whom I haven’t seen in a long time, but then again there all the good places are taken and we need a place where we can sit and talk for hours… so Pizza Hut it is.
It was a nice night out and I’m glad that I am home!
